We are flying on the 16th, Jan to vancouver for first time landing before it gets expired in April, stay for 20 days then come back for about one more year in China. Best luck for you and everyone.

    Got email yesterday, my passport with visa is on the way too. I am so happy, from day 1 of application till now, it has been 2 yrs and half. Finally it's almost over---just 1 or 2 more hrs to wait. Thank you everyone, it's been great support from this forum, and I WISH everyone gets through this...

    Hi congrats for you!!!! I got my passport request on the 9th, Aug, they received my passport on the 15th, Aug, so I don't have my visa yet. But usually in China, it takes about 1 month before i can get visa after sending passport. Yours is really QUICK, and I am very happy for you. Best regards.

    my husband is the sponsor, as long as your case is in Vancouver IAD, I would think, the timeline should not be much difference. It took us 1 yr and 8months already, hopefully, within 1 month, my passport will be back with visa. So i would say it takes us for the whold appeal after refusal 1 year...

    Refused in Dec, 2014, appealed in Early Jan, 2015, ADR in Sep, 2015, Full Hearing in Dec, 2015, passed, medical&updated forms requested in Apr, 2016, sent everything end of Apr, middle of Aug, 2016, requested for passport.

    hi there, we have almost the same schedule: appeal win in Dec, 2015, and they requested to re-do medical and bunch of forms in Apr, 2016, we submitted everything end of April, so far, nothing happened. CPC Ottawa is the office.
