Hi, does anyone know Ankara or Canada will return back any of the documents we sent to them? like photos, translations, etc.?

I sent my application on Nov 27th (for sponsor approval) and then it got to Ankara on March 6th, 2015. The info on the getcanadavisa site is wrong. I never put that info there (as of now). I got PPR on May may 8th. The status hasn't changed yet though, I got the email from ankara.

It's different for everybody. For me even the AOR itself took over 3 months and then I got my SA a day after AOR. Some people got their AOR sooner than me but then got their SA a few weeks later and some got both at the same time. I guess it all depends on the officer. It's better if you look at...

Thank you. This was really helpful. My wife is busy with school and if she receives the email sometime soon she won't be able to go. I don't know if anyone else can go on behalf of her or mailing the passport is possible but I will search to see if anyone else has done this.

Hi everybody. Apparently a few days after the "status change", they request the passport. Does that mean at that time you are required to mail your passport to Ankara? and they are going to hold your passport for a few months? Thanks

The 8 digits that don't start with 0 is her UCI number. Select client ID Number, type the 8 digit number, type your wife's last name and date of birth and select her place of birth. Give it a try

Was this the first time you called them? Normal processing time had passed anyway...so if they had told you they were still reviewing your application, was it making any difference for you? No! Same thing. Plus I don't understand what verification do they need for sponsor's approval!? Sponsors...

So you had a missing form? You never sent them this form which they are requiring now? The reason I am asking this is because I want to know if they have lost it or you didn't send them the form to begin with...
