We have 450 points now, my wife as the primary. She will get those 30 extra points in June and I have Canadian siblings so 15 more should be added. Im expecting 495 points by June (hopefully).

I see. EE is a must so we are going for that, isn't there a chance that Ontario nominates you as a PNP while in the EE pool? Say you apply to both, you get the ITA first can't you just go ahead with that and forget about the OINP? Thanks,

We have all the requirements for the OINP as far as I can tell. Besides the $1500 extra expense is there any disadvantage? We prefer Toronto anyway.
