    Doubt about spouse's ECA

Select whatever you believe to be the case, but when it asks if you have an ECA to that effect, answer no so that you are not awarded any points for it.

    Application refused, can you appeal?

Can you please supply the exact wording of your rejection letter? People are guessing what was wrong because we don't have their exact words.

    Professions requiring a license

No. Apply under the NOC, as that is what you are and what your experience letters will say. You will have to prove you have funds to support yourself while you settle in Canada, and that will include time to get licensed as an attorney here.

Clarification on applying for PR with my girlfriend as common law partners?

My partner and I got PR as a common law couple. First, when we lived in Europe, he applied for a Canadian student visa. We had to swear to our relationship with the same confirmation of common law relationship form that comes with the PR application, and we had to provide some proof - affidavits...

Dont remember stay address of short foreign trips.what to fill in addr. history?

Don't put temporary places where you stayed on vacation in your address history - those things (without the address) go in your travel history. Your address history is for places you lived, not places you vacationed in!

1 and 2 - don't do it unless you are asked to. 3 - you don't upload your pgwp and you don't upload your NoA unless they have asked for it with your employment information. Put the CELPIP number in the correct place, and then as confirmation you can bind your CELPIP document with your diploma...

Not paying USA credit card bills will have canada PR rejected?

Seriously? CIC doesn't do a credit check, so you're good unless one of your creditors files criminal charges against you!

Re open ITA PR file after rejection

Of course you can write a CSE, attach the correct document, and ask that they reopen your case. But when lawyers or consultants make mistakes, those mistakes are attributed to the applicant, and in general CIC seems to re-open only those cases in which the mistake was CIC's, not the applicants...

Received COPR papers and successfully landed connect here

The Canadian visa is single entry BECAUSE after that entry you will be a Canadian PR, free to enter Canada without your usual visa. Entering by land, the CoPR is enough before you get your PR card. It's best not to fly into Canada before you get your PR card. For re-entering the US, of course...

    US Passport Expiration

Yup. Get the new passport. Send a CSE to CIC telling them of the change in passport number. Then send the new passport. If you are outside the US, you may be able to get it renewed very quickly. When I lived in Europe, I was able to renew my US passport twice - each time in a week or less.

    Confusion

You are fine. As far as misrepresentation, ask yourself whether disclosing your foreign work experience could have resulted in denial of your student visa. Things that bring about a misrepresentation charge are those things that Canada considers important to your application, and that an...

Yes, they have. The type is not for you to say. Just show up for the exam with your passport and pictures - they will give you proof that you had the exam that you upload with your application. I cannot believe the bad information your consultant has been giving you. If you are serious about...

    Getting PR card mailed

When we landed, they asked us for proof of address - driver's license, etc. We didn't have it, and there was no problem - they just asked for our address. We told them, and that is where they will send the cards (we landed September 18, don't have the cards yet). You don't apply separately for...

Any previous visa rejections(any country) cause schedule A request?

We did find it strange that my partner was asked to answer the statutory questions (about visa refusals, etc) on a Schedule A and specifically told to sign it - when he had already answered those questions on the PR application. He had never been refused a visa to anywhere, had never applied for...

Chance Of misrepresentation by mistake. need HELP

It doesn't matter. The US and Canada exchange information all the time, and the important thing is that you are truthful on your EE/PR application. If you can't be honest now, truly the best course of action is not to apply at all.
