Finally got oath scheduled on april 8. 2019 june applicant.

So folks June 2019 applicant, did my test in september 2021 then pp request in november 2021 then interview on 7th of murch 2022 interview was just for two minutes…. on 8th of march all turned to complete except oath. Now another waiting for oath invite….

There you go if anyone interested can apply to take oath outside but yes it will take time and they approve it because my friend’s wife was approved. But yes it take some time though.

No they just sold their house and left.

I do not know exectly what she said but presumably she came up with something for example to take care of parents or so.

She took oath in december and still waiting for her certificate but they told her it would take longer time and she was going ok with it

I also think that the only way they can clear so many files are through in person appointments. because you can do test, passport and interview at the same time while when they do them online it could take a year or even more. and plus if Driver’s license test can be done in person why not...

Presumably one of the conditions would be medical I guess, if there is one.

she is from Georgia eastern europe. the reason was they moved to live in that country for a while.

To me it was even unthinkable to have zoom session outside canada but it was. and i am not trying to make up the story here if you don’t believe it is ok

Yes they do but you have to tell them when they send you the oath invite that you are outside and they will tell you what to do and how to do the oath outside.

Canada is looking to allow people to self-administer their Oath by signed attestation, and celebrate their citizenship at a later date. This would shorten the waiting time for those at the final stage of their citizenship process. They just came up with this idea .. what is this and how it...
