    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Hello Folks. All those who are wondering why they don't have decision made after their exams, don't worry. The officer clearly told me that unless they have 50 candidates in a riding they can't schedule an oath ceremony. Hence the time from passing the exam to the ceremony varies from place to...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

I passed my citizenship test today in the backdrop of a potent Nor'easter. I was told that they need a minimum of 50 prospective Canadians before scheduling an oath ceremony. Hence I may have to wait for a month or two before my oath. The oath invite will be electronic. Best of luck to all...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Thank your stars atleast your application is in Ottawa. Mine is still sitting in a locked cabinet somewhere in Sydney. I am a March applicant not a Feb applicant. My application was received on 10th March 2014 and I got my AOR on 12th April 2014 which is also the due date for my Security check.

Check Page 5 of your GCMS under Admissibilities: Security. It will say who your case is Assigned to and towards end of the page the Due Date. I don't know how strictly CIC is implementing its policy of adhering to Due date.

Absolutely Patwal. I had called up CIC today and they said the same thing. They told me my file is still in Sydney and security check is still pending. I have ordered my GCMS notes once again. I hardly doubt there will be any update on it. Fed up with this wait. If things don't work out by 12th...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

I have a feeling certain provinces are being processed earlier than others. I feel Alberta and Ontario nominees are getting priority over other provinces. I could be wrong too. Maybe after screwing up Ontario applicants in the name of a QA exercise, CIC wants to give them a lollipop by offering...

Hello Mikmik and Delgado: I just browsed through my GCMS notes. MY location too is PS- (As on 10th September 2014- the very same date a positive eligibility decision was made). PV2 stands for Provincial Nominees and all of us should have the same category. As on 10th september 2014 my status...
