I had a similar problem, I had an open warrant for driving without a license back in 1999 in US and was deemed inadmissibile.I took care of that matter through a lawyer and presented evidence to my VO.I recently got my visa after all.

VO had my passport since May of 2017, and just recently got my visa this week. Have your MP contact your VO. Best wishes

I believe you just have to provide more detail information and see where your weaknesses are and what are the strong points that the VO office is looking for as regards to you case.Also try searching similar case to yours that was successful.Hope that helps.,.,.God bless.

Sorry I had given the wrong month I appealed in September of 2016.It took us roughly four (4) months to get a hearing date in January of 2017.Are you waiting on a full hearing?

Yes I appealed in October 2016 and appeal was allowed in January of 2017
