Hi! My husband submitted his passport for a Travel Document to the canadian embassy in riyadh on February 4th. Any one have any idea how long we can expect it takes for it to return back?

Hi everyone, My husband landed in Sept. in Canada. He could not collect his PR card in time due to family reasons. He has now applied for a travel document to return back to Canada. Any idea how long the process could take the Canadian embassy in Riyadh? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I got a letter today from CIC about my husband's PR card. They have requested new photos. My husband is currently out of Canada and will now have to apply for a travel document. In the mean time will re-send these requirements. Any idea how long does it take to a travel document...

My husband landed on Sept 26th and still no PR card....116 days!!

I called CIC today to ask about my husband's PR card. He has landed on Sept. 26th. They said he was supposed to get it on January 1st, but because they have a back log, they have added 30 additional days. Great! Another month of waiting!

Hi Guys! My husband landed on Sept 26th, 2015. He has still not received his PR card. Everytime we have called CIC they said you can expect your card in december, and now they say you can expect it in January. My husband has to leave the country next month. Anyone else in a similar situation...

I am glad things worked out for you in the end....I don't think people should have to be troubled so much just for a passport submission....in sha allah may we all hear something soon!

Thats really disappointing to know....at NDVO....passports are returned in 3 working days if a person lives in delhi...and about a week to 10 days else where in India....hoping in sha allah new updates come next week!

Thanks for the info...does that apply to London visa office? Is it different for NDVO?

Hi everyone! My husband has submitted his passport at VFS Riyadh on Aug 19th, 2015 for PR stamping under family sponsorship from New Delhi Visa Office. Any idea when we can expect the passport to come back? Thanks for your help!

Hi Guys, Finally this process comes to an end. Our status changed to Decision made on 14th August and this morning got PPR. Good luck to all other members and hope u get your PPR's soon. Thanks to everyone on the forum... was really helpful during this long wait.

Hi guys! Finally more good news at our end...DECISION MADE!! It happened Aug 14th....just hoping passport request comes soon!! Our application date is Sept 2nd, 2014 and IP is July 1st, 2015.
