First you can ask RCMP to know about the fingerprint status. Second send email or call IRCC to know your application status. I also had FP request and sent email to RCMP and IRCC several times.

Don't worry about your kid on the exam day. They will need information only related to who are participating the exam. Everything is clearly mentioned on the invitation letter what to bring with you on the exam day.

No you dont need to take your kid with your at the exam center. Only people are invited to attend the exam room.

For me it took almost a month to get any reply from CIC. You can email to RCMP to know if they have sent the search result to your file processing center (CIC). Dont worry everything should be fine.

If anyone called IRCC to know the FP status. I have called IRCC since I have done my FP on Oct 11 which is still not reached in IRCC. If anyone has done FP and processed already for next steps how long does it take to get done the FP search by RCMP usually? Thanks in advance.

Now a days many applicants receiving FP requests. It might be a reason to promote the FP agencies.

I have done my fingerprint on 11 Oct since then there is no change in my status. I have emailed IRCC and they informed me that they have not completed my search as of yesterday. Does anyone have similar situation?
