At the same date me (IDP) and my friend (BC) sat for IELTS. In the mock test we both got always very close. But in the real exam difference of band is 1.5. I believe that we actually stand in the same platform of English level. May be it is not universal but I feel that IDP is better. and later...

I prefer IDP.
