I am not claiming that the process it fair. But it is still better and easier than in many other countries. It was frustrating to see that people who have applied later than others were processed quicker. But in the long run, this is citizenship, not pr, you won't get kicked out of the country...

Don't take my words as a 100% confirmation, judging from personal experience, request for urgent processing can be approved and still take almost as long as the regular one. Definitely bring your PR card along. In my case, the officer validated the PR card and the invitation before letting everyone in for the test.

My exam took an hour with interview. The test is written all together, and the interview follows the test on a first come, first served basis. Meaning, the sooner you finish the test, the sooner you have your interview.

Most likely your application has not been entered to the system yet. Your UCI stays the same as while you were applying for PR. You can try using you receipt number as well. But, unfortunately, the only thing you can do now is wait. My feeling is that since your application has not been returned...

As far as I know, fingerprint request is not mandatory and not all the applicants receive it. Necessity of the request appears when IRCC finds that applicant's name has resemblance to someone holding a record in their database
