Can someone shed some light on the amount payable for the citizenship application? I am confused because the online application list requires a fee of 630 but then has an option for another $75 for the certificate. I thought that we get a certificate included once the application is approved so...

My relative got a call from IRCC today but unfortunately he missed it. However, thankfully they also sent him an email saying that they will correct the PPR email and resend it to him. So hopefully he gets the correct one for the NDVO soon. If you guys emailed them last week then I would expect...

So how have these ppl submitted their passports to Islamabad? VFS India says they can't do anything since the letter asks us to contact VFS Islamabad and I'm not sure how ppl are sending their passports from India to VFS Islamabad?

Our reason for thinking that this is an error is because both people on this thread who got the email are indian citizens and reside in India. Is your applicant residing in India too?

My relative who got the ppr and his wife who sponsored him are both Indian citizens so we are perplexed as to why the ppr is asking him to send his passport to Islamabad. I'm not sure what number he called but it was to the new delhi visa office

This is totally normal. Infact, I just got a decision made update today as well. In almost all the cases if you haven't heard anything from the chc up until that point, it is almost certainly an approval and you should receive your passport with the visa in mail. Hang in there and congrats.

Thanks.... yes it does say "medicals received" and it wasn't on there earlier so for me it was in the same update as decision made

Well folks, as i have said earlier that it is really random (the timelines) and that each case is totally different. But as far as I know, extensive travel for short periods of time doesn't really impact the timeline unless you have stayed somewhere for 6 months and above. My spouse hadn't...

Well by the grace of almighty, I have an update on ecas saying Decision made :) So hopefully its good news.... I'm very excited and pleased. I'm going to India tomorrow.... So hopefully both of us will return together god willing. Good luck to everyone.

@ Sim.... as far as i have read on this forum, no one has been negatively impacted by contacting their mp to get more info on their file. In most cases, folks get a quicker response on the status of their file. So I wouldn't worry too much about any negative impacts to the application.
