    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Nothing important - can't even remember, but very straightfoward. Have you committed a crime type questions, do you have dependents who you did not include in the application (children specifically), and maybe one about being on social assistance? I know some people indicate questions are...

Yes, we did our medicals May 2013... and applied August 2nd 2013... and they clearly in GCMS notes marked our Medicals as "Extended" but only until October 2014 or something. In the end, never had to re-do medicals. Considered it a few times though... We've seen some people indicate since we...

Yes as noted by Ponga, that's the full fee. A lot of people for whatever reason don't pay the $490 up front... We were never asked to produce the receipt, she just indicated she could tell we paid in full at the time of application. (But of course, go prepared)

Just got the PR card on Thursday, after having landed on January 16th. We called a week ago and were told the PR card was still at the printer, that it was odd considering it had been over 4 weeks, and to wait another 2-3 weeks before following up. (It arrived within 5 days of our call!)

CONGRATS BANKERGUY! Happy for you, from one banker guy to another. We landed January 16th (Aug 2nd, 2013 applicants) and still have yet to receive the PR card... We called on Friday, and the rep said that it was odd it has been longer than the days they post on their website. When he looked...

Congrats, this is DM. You will just receive another e-mail "letter" in 1-4 weeks (depends on office) which is your invitation to the landing appointment. It is very smooth and you just need to bring ID for you and the sponsor, and bring your application just in case they ask for anything...

Hi Civic, Some landing agents say that you need to wait - but in fact you can go to Service Canada with your COPR and they will give you a SIN. For those of us who landed at Etobicoke recently, they actually had a booth for SIN applications - you just waited another few minutes, got called up...

Is anyone who landed recently able to confirm if they have Condition 51 on their COPR? (Must cohabit for 2 years) If so, were you in a relationship of greater than two years (married/common-law) prior to application? Thanks!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Good luck to everyone still waiting! We have a question - we just landed on Friday (yay!), however there was Condition 51 (must cohabit for 2 years after PR) placed on the COPR. We were living together for 4 years before applying, it shouldn't apply to us. Thoughts? We are going to write to...

Well, it does NOT "ensure" you can re-enter Canada. It means you have the ability to re-enter... an officer can deny you entry for any reason they deem appropriate, and their own manual requires them to then notify CIC of this denial which automatically, by manual, forces your application to be...

We didn't have any reference to it in the AIP (even though we paid fee and sent it in the same envelope...) Also, no e-mail about OWP Had to call, one guy said no record of payment/application (which isn't true), two other people confirmed it was mailed on Oct29th... and others who had AIP...
