It's strange, because when I called the call centre a few months ago they told me that all my checks were done and I just need to wait for my test invite. But during the interview, the officer told me that the security clearance is still pending. Not sure why they would give me conflicting...

Hey Vancouver folks, Had my test today. After the interview, the officer told me that they are still waiting for my security clearance. Wondering if anybody else who wrote the test here recently was told the same thing as I am trying to estimate how long this might take. Appreciate any responses!

Yay! Just got an email from IRCC inviting me to write the test on Sept 13th. Vancouver applicant here. Good luck to the rest of you waiting patiently :)

Looks like Vancouver applications are moving particularly slowly. Looking at the spreadsheet, lots of Dec '17 and Jan '18 applicants are yet to get a test invite, so it probably means a much longer wait for a Feb applicant like me!

You are probably right. I updated my address and changed my employer a few months ago and got an email to send an updated Schedule A. So, I am guessing that's the reason.
