It will take at least 2 months before they reached out for 2nd medical. My parents 1st medical expired Feb 18 2021 and they sent us 2nd medical request on April 20, 2021.

We don't have passport request letter yet and medicals are expired on March 6th. Hoping for great news soon!

What does receiving pre-arrival letter mean? We received this letter just this afternoon from CPC-M. My parents are here on their tourist visa since Feb 17. Wondering what we could expect next?

We're still waiting here in hamilton. I'm just not sure if I would like the astrazeneca for them.. my parents are in their 60's so we may have to wait for phase 2

Did anyone here have parents on tourist visa recently got vaccinated in canada? Would you know if they will be accepted just having passport and their visa with them?

Medicals expired yesterday but it still shows medical passed march 6, 2020. Anyone on the same boat? I wonder why it didn't change to any status. Maybe because it's weekend?

I got the same letter back Dec. 4, 2020 and submitted the updated forms Dec 7 . 3 months later, we still heard nothing. My parents medicals are expiring in 2 days. is your application with CPC-M too?

Speaking of quarantine protocols, we've been receiving calls from Gov. Of Canada every other day and they're checking for the same thing.. if we are following the protocols or if we're developing any symptoms. Just this morning someone physically showed up at our door and ask the same questions...

We give them copy of my birth cert and marriage cert. Maybe you can get a sworn affidavit stamped by an attorney? Stating that they are your parents.. that might help too.

I just wanted to share with you my experience for those who are thinking to do the same... My parents landed here feb 17th on their tourist visa. We're hoping that changing their address and being here in Canada physically present will at least help in moving forward with their pr application...

I changed their address online using my cic account. Do I need to write IRCC separately using webform to inform them my parents are here now?

Thank you! Their first medical is soon to expire. Not sure if we're getting extension as I haven't heard anything from CPC-M. if we get 2nd medical request and they're here in canada on tourist visa, we can do their 2nd medical here right?
