Hi, The Canadian goverment anounced that visitor visas for Mexicans are not going to be required, but nothing was said about when this policy is going to start being effective. Meanwhile Mexicans still require visas to come to Canada.

Hi rmv, I think if you have other photos and documents that show different times/aspects of your ongoing life together that will be sufficient. I think being honest is best--why complicate life? Like ayrazar says, write a letter explaining the situation. Best of luck!

Congratulations! If it says "decision made" it means CIC has made a decision regarding your application. You probably will be receiving am email very soon with information about such decision, and further final instructions.

The COPR will be arriving together with the passport. That is the last document you will be receiving prior to landing, and then when landing they will ask for a mailing address in Canada to send the PR card.

I landed on October 12, 2015 in Alberta, and received my card on January 28, 2016. Based on the issued date, it looks like it took about a week to be delivered.
