You can pay in both ways. Either DD or Online. I paid online and now waiting for passports.

Nope. You dont need to undergo medicals if your ECAS updated with 3rd line (Received medical.....). The above sentence says you get this email/request or become eligible to participate in CIIP only when your application is at the stage or medical / security and background checks initiated.

I second. But if we go to the link provided by NDVO, it has a mention; Payment overseas The visa office responsible for the country or area where you live will have more information on how to pay fees for immigration applications.

I guess they are waiting to get over the "45 days", which they given to each applicants to submit the docs. Hopefully, we will have good news from 1st week of Nov.

I dont think point no. 1 is correct. All NDVO applicants received same link for RPRF payment irrespective of the 1st mode of payment. I paid my initial fees via DD, still I have the option of paying online in the link provided by NDVO.

Even NDVO site mentioned that; "Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or...
