    BOWP flagpole for spouse?

I'm interested in what form you used to apply for your spouse's permit. My spouse is the main applicant on our PR application (we came under BC PNP), but he was issued a two year permit, meaning he doesn't need a BWP while our PR application is being processed. I was issued a one year OWP...

Extending open work permit as a spouse

Hello all! So, a bit of background. My spouse received PNP nomination in BC last year, and we made the move to Canada November 2014. I was issued an open work permit as his spouse, however, we were arriving in different flights a couple of hours apart. He was issued a two year work permit, and...

    BC PNP April 2014

We haven't actually gone to canada yet so that's why we were so eager to get the results as my partner is waiting to start his job post. It took 7 days to get the package in the post but decision was done a week prior to it actually being sent, so it definitely does feel a bit like a waste of time!

    BC PNP April 2014

Hello! We are waiting for approval from the UK too and were hoping we could have the letter via email. Recently we were told that decision was made but couldn't be informed via email and had to wait for post to arrive in the UK. Not sure how long this will take. It is very frustrating! My only...

    BC PNP April 2014

Can people stop making assumptions and stating things as facts? For instance the poster above received all documents via email, and I'm sure other people out there had the same, so clearly they DO send emails beforehand to notify nomination.

    obtaining work permit at POE

Yeah I think with PNP you must do all the paperwork at the nominating province so I guess it's best to get a flight that goes directly to Vancouver. Thanks for the advice.

    obtaining work permit at POE

Hello! So, me and my common law are currently patiently waiting for his PNP approval, which should be imminent. Anyway, we are not in Canada currently as his job post will only start once he gets nomination. As we were informed, with the nomination letter we can obtain work permits at point of...

    Common Law PNP sponsoring

Has anyone out there been in this position?? Common-law of a PNP applicant? What have their experiences been at POE when trying to obtain OWP? Also, when filling out my details on my partner's application, I put down my main nationality (Argentinian) although I have double nationality...

Hello! First of all thanks so much for everyone's input on here, it's very helpful while dealing with our PNP application. So, our situation is the following. My boyfriend is a UK citizen who has submitted his skilled worker PNP application for BC back in May. We are patiently awaiting a...
