I got the exact same letter. Out of my excitement, I thought I need a representative but when I read it multiple times. The letter was just saying that "if the applicant used the services of a rep..."...Whew!

I got the same email too today. I sent my application on May 29th. I guess I dont have to worry now because everyone received the same email. I am pretty sure I double checked that they received my file thru Canada post tracking system.

I think it has to be originally printed from the studio where they will stamp the back portion of it.

On the upper right, it should say VALIDATED.

What I did was, i put, 1900/01/01. Then write a letter explaining why you did it. Tell them for validation purposes and that the birthdate is unknown. Explain why it's unknown to support your argument.
