We got the same... you'll get IMM5785 and IMM5688 by post soon, they'll need to be signed for :) IMM5785 and IMM5688 are the same, one COPR to keep for your records and another to hand to the immigration officer.

On our accompanying letter in MyCIC it says: I originally assumed this was October 2nd 2017, but it sounds like it might be as soon as February 10th 2017?!

Spreadsheet update (for "kmclintock"): MyCIC has changed to "Your application has been approved" :-D We can see the letter that accompanies the COPR document, but not the COPR itself... is this sent later by post?

We just noticed our background check has changed to 'In Progress' today! Hopefully it goes smoothly :)

Same for us Gary, we applied in March 2016 and our background check is "Not Started".

Nobody really knows I'm afraid. Some say it depends on the amount of applications currently going through Ottawa, likewise for London. Really it's just the luck of the draw. We're also going through London so know how you feel!

So how are all the original March applicants doing? I bet a few of you Ottawa people are already landed! We applied March 16th going through London, so looking at around December or January. I think now that August is here it doesn't seem that long at all now. Hope to hear from others who are...

We got the 3rd line on the 29th of April :) It's basically "AOR2" that people talk about... your visa office is now processing the application.

I was just wondering how you know if you have received AOR2? We received the SA email on the 25th of April. In ECAS under "Permanent Residence Application Status" we now have the line "We started processing XXX application on April 29, 2016."

We just got our SA through this week and it's been sent to the London office. I saw on the spreadsheet that the average amount of time for processing is 9 months, but also noticed some people are saying 6 months? Just thought I would ask what people think is the correct (approximate) length of...

It should be the information of the sponsor (i.e. Canadian), their family name, date of birth and country of birth.

We also had this update this morning. I'm not sure if this means we'll get SA soon... but better than nothing! :)

It arrived in Mississauga on the 16th of March. Just got to hope the sponsor approval goes OK now :)
