Full-time job while being full-time student. Won`t it be suspicious for CIC?

Wait.. what was your legal status? From what I know, you can't work full time while you are enrolled in school. Something like max. of 20 hours per week with the work permit off campus and only time you can work full time is during the break.

Need Urgent Help. Work Permit is Expiring soon, what to do next?

Hi there: Few things you can do. 1. Apply for work permit extension. 2. If you can't apply for work permit extension, then stop working after 20 days - apply for a visitor's visa (if applicable). Then you just have to wait until ONIP approves and then update your EE profile. Get an ITA, and...

I don't think this is always the case. Some people get PPR without BG ever going into process and it all changes at the end after PPR and they did not get the fast PPRs. I am truly sorry how incredibly frustrating this whole thing might be for you, but if they wanted to reject you, they...

PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA IN Jan 2016 - LETS CONNECT!!

Hi limbo - I did my landing with the implied status. It really does not mean anything at the time of landing. I landed at Peace Bridge in Fort Erie, ON and they never asked for my current status. As long as you have the PR visa (if applicable) and CoPR, you don't need anything else to prove...

Post-ITA checklist: spouse education proof required but she never has one

Or you can include documents she's been using in the past but make sure include the Letter of Explanation and thoroughly explain the situation (no points were awarded etc.).

RPRF request, no PPR yet.. anyone else in the same situation?

If you search the forum, RPRF does not gurantee PPR. It is only normal for one to get a request to pay the RPRF and few months later they may or may not get the PPR. Every officer is different, and every visa office is different.

My Story: Canada Post lost my passport and COPR.

Hello guys, I just did my landing today at Fort Erie, ON. Before, you could just make a u turn at the border and complete the landing process without going to the US at Fort Erie(thats why I chose this location) but now you have to actually go to the US. Its ok even if you dont have a US visa as...

Yours is probably very closed. The status without any update is "submitted". As soon as they update your application, although you see no changes, it becomes "updated". If you click on your profile to see any update, then since you checked for the update, it becomes "submitted". It's all good!

My Story: Canada Post lost my passport and COPR.

No, it wasn't picked up by some kid - the mailman delivered to a wrong address, put my package in someone else's community mailbox. EVEN ASKING FOR A SIGNATURE, it still can be mis-delivered. There is no way of completely preventing these types of human error but you can definitely reduce them.
