I have a concern. My bridging work permit application got rejected, and I heard when you do the landing at the border, you must have status or implied status, but I don't both. So, what do you guys suggest me to do when I receive my passport.

They have my passport since the 7th of July, and still waiting. I'm not sure if that is normal?

Mine was in progress before, and now it says not needed. it's strange.

I checked my application and something changed and they didn't notify me. My background check was in progress and it got changed to not needed at this time. is that a good sign?

As for the employer compliance fee, I just took the receipt. It wasn't done thru the employer portal. I don't think it matters to them who paid it, because they were just looking for an authorization number in the receipt.

I received an email early morning from CIC Sydney NS requesting detailed information and they gave me 2 months deadline to provide this information. I hope they request medical after I reply to them.

Hi Starb Yes it does say that on the work permit supporting letter. All what you need to do if you still with the same employer is to go to the border with that supporting letter, employer compliance fee receipt, current pgwp and your passport. That is all what I took and I got my post grad...
