hello and welcome on the forum. I applied on October 31st, so we are waiting for SA still. Since my husband is canadian resident, we requested Ottawo visa office instead of Tel Aviv; but we don't know yet where they are going to send our file.

since I have file number (UCI), I was thinking of sending the new form ahead. What do you guys think about it?

Ottawa is considered as an outland visa office. It deals with US cases and with people who live in Canada for at least 1 year and hold a valid status in canada ( work permit or study permit for example). :)
