That is not true....I have spoken to a few agents from CIC and those that has sent their OWP before December 22nd will be processed as part of this pilot program. They will receive their OWP before the 4 months indicated for those that sent their app after December 22nd.

I think since your husband has problem with CBSA...CIC has to make a decision on your Application within 60 days. Just call CIC and CBSA to inform them of your husband situation.

With holidays coming processing time will only increase. That is why I hope that the OWP with AOR is actually happening. If CIC does not do anything about this backlog, we will be looking at something like 24 months for stage 1. May god hear our prayers! Happy Holidays to everyone!

As i was reviewing the Q&A twitter with the immigration minister i saw someone asked about the long wait for immigrants already in canada and the minister answered that starting january 1st it will be a wait of 6 months or less. hope thats true!

CIC finally updated their website after 2 months for inland apps. let's hope it is for the best!

I stopped thinking about how long this process will take.....like that i hope i will not notice how long it is actually taking.lol! I am also taking some courses online for a master in Project Management, to keep me busy. I hope we all get some good news soon! May god help us all.

That is what i found on CIC website but i am still looking for the implied status because i read it before that you are considered implied status while you wait for a final decision. Maintaining legal status Spouses and common‑law partners of Canadian citizens and permanent residents in Canada...

I assume that it was the whole app i just got a call from my lawyer and i asked him to confirm and he said it was just the form! sorry for the confusion.

CIC sent me my app back today because of an outdated form...I already sent the whole app again back to them with the updated form. is that going to delay the process or i will still be considered an August application? I also sent my FBI report which i received today.

They got my app on the 6th of august and got my AOR on the 20th.

I havent check my mail box in a few days and when i check it today i saw that CIC already sent me my AOR and it started with an "F"....from the date on the letter i can say it took me 2 weeks to get my AOR.
