    I wrote to my MP today, stated my frustration and despair, mentioned this is not just my issue, but thousand others in same state. I asked it be taken to the parliament floor for questioning, debate and resolution... We'll see if my MP is worth to help, please engage your MPs too. :'(

    Exactly! Transfer letter DID NOT have any date on it. As I said, if it had a date, then OHIP would consider it as a valid document, that our application being in-process and a temp OHIP# could have been issued.

    OHIP office would have issued at least temporary coverage for my spouse with this March transfer letter, IF it had a date on it. They were not impressed that a Canadian govt office would do such a correspondence but lacking such a BASIC detail like that.

    Hi, just joined. Application sent early Aug 2013 myself. Pregnant wife due in few months... no ohip, medical bills... We are frustrated, depressed, broke, all of our savings done months ago, living on credit cards,... too. And I am working!! I NEVER EVER asked for any assistance from Canada...
