It took about 10 or 11 weeks to get my AOR so I would say your wait time is not unusual Mine came in an email. Did you track your application delivery? Also, try checking the spreadsheet we have. It's been linked on this thread a few times now and gives a good idea of what is happening with...

Hi JC85, It took about 10 weeks for me to get AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from CiC. If you check the spreadsheet you will see it takes a while for everyone, will come to you in time :)

Once you land I believe your PR card is valid for 5 years mate. It looks like you have to land before the expiry date (19 Feb 2016). Personally, I just went and landed as soon as my COPR cane through just to get it out of the way and done with... There are lots of threads on here with landing...
