I would suggest to submit in person and opt for courier to receive it back as then you do not have to submit your originals. I submitted in person on Dec 14th, 2021 and should be receiving my OCI Card by Tuesday.

They did not ask me for record of landing. The docs I submitted were Citi I submitted my OCI application on Dec 14th but have not received any acknowledgement. Also it says no record found on the BLS website but BLS tracking shows "Processing at Consulate General.... I am confused. :(

It should take a week or two but there is still no fixed pattern as people have also been waiting from months after DM. So it is all about luck sometimes ;) . I am in the same boat as you so let us hope for the best. Good luck!

I think we all are in the same boat but considering the situation we should give them more time and wait for some more time. Also, I feel we do not know their plans hence assuming certain things will unnecessarily bring frustration to ourselves only. I am sure they will expedite once they start...
