Winnipeg office does all background and security clearance before scheduling the applicant to take test and interview, therefore DM and oath doesn't take that long. The officer at interview told me 1-3 months.

I can't access the citizenship at the moment to see what they ask you exactly. But work visa and student visa are non-immigration status.
