Yes, we received an "additional documents" request about 10 days ago asking for the CSQ, confirmation of our postal address and additional proof of my intent to return to Canada. Hopefully, shouldn't be too long now!

So what they are saying (I think) is that you shouldn't have RECEIVED that letter, not that you shouldn't have applied for the CSQ. Humm.. a bit strange. I wouldn't worry about it though. We sent our CSQ application before receiving any correspondence from MIDI, an it didn't change anything.

We just used the Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. Just be careful and choose the right address as one is a post box (which doesn't accept courrier deliveries) and the other one is specifically for signed deliveries.

Application was received on 30/06/2014, SA on 22/08/2014. Still a relatively long process compared to, say, Mississauga VO, but it's movement!
