I think you are fine then. You had finished your medical and they are alright with everything. Now they are requesting for the passport to stamp the visa. Sometimes, they send the email earlier than updating the CIC site. Email is better than CIC page :-) Congrats, you 're all set and good...

when did you set this email? and when was the last time you had your medical test. Also when was the last time you saw the status saying "Medical: passed"? Also is it the General Cateogry or SPP?
