Hmm strange. I don't see how CIC will process your application and send you a refund in just two weeks. Did you receive the refund on your credit card? Maybe someone used your credit card to pay for application fee and cancel the application afterwards.

I doubt it's a refund from CIC. Ask your bank who sent you the money.

At least you're done with your test/interview. I'm an Oct applicant and have been waiting for my test invite for nearly 6 months. Have a great birthday on July 30th :)

Where did you write your test? And how was it?

No. I just walked in without appointment. Just don't forget to take all the documents listed in the letter you received from CIC (COPR, PR card, IDs). The whole process took about 10-15 min.

I did my FP at Saskatoon Police Station on 25th street. It costs $35 and took roughly 2 weeks for CIC in BC to receive the results from RCMP in Ottawa.

Mine IP since Dec 14. Did FP last earlier last month and they got the result by the end of the month. Since then nothing. Any news on test invites for Oct applicants?
