Sorry, I cant find any info elsewhere but does anyone know if bls toronto is taking walk ins? the earliest appointment i can find for visa services is in december. TIA
does anyone know if vfs toronto is taking walk ins? their website is so confusing. Is only brampton accepting walk ins or both toronto and brampton? we are trying to get a visa application submitted but their earliest appointment is Dec 5!
The key thing is “showing you studied in English or French”. I just have doubt because they could very well say it’s an Indian university so it may not have been taught in English.
Thanks everyone for the responses!
Hi there,
If I have a degree from an Indian university and it's in English, is it sufficient for language proof? Or do I still have to get the university to write a letter stating the studies were done in English?
Thank you.
Not sure if any of you read this article. http://m.hilltimes.com/news/news/2016/02/01/liberal-mps-put-heat-on-mccallum-to-address-immigration-processing-mess-say-lengthy/45087
One of the things on there state that individual MPs are no longer allowed to contact individual visa offices. This is...
I don't think that's how it works, based on this -> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=070&t=3
"If I apply today, do the processing times show how long it will take to process my application?
No. The processing times only show the time it took to approve or refuse 80 percent...
No travel history. Maximum travel is 3 weeks to Canada. No gov't organization ties.
The last set of notes Generated November 1 said eligibility passed, remedical requested, file sent for criminal check.
Congrats to all with dm and ppr. I did mp inquiry n was told file is in queue for background check. But it was sent for background checks in nov. they said there'll be updates by May. But that's like 19 months from application date!
I know. They really need to have someone audit their system. Lol.
I thought I had done a MP inquiry last Friday but it appears that the person at the MP office handling my file doesn't know the procedures. So he's already called me twice asking for additional information to do the inquiry...
That's kinda odd. I mean, if file is in good standing and medicals are expired, it's only reasonable that you receive a remedical request. I would suggest applying for notes, just to see what's going on so far.
the notes were generated a month ago. if you look at the notes, at the top it'll say when the notes were generated. So, there were updates to your file after you ordered your notes.
Check the second page under 'assessments'. You'll see eligibility, security, criminality etc. And check the last two pages under 'Notes'. It'll give some notes about what the officer said about your file
