I got the same letter from CIC today. After reading all of your posting, I found myself nowhere. Another 5/6 months or an year no body knows.

I do think the same, resubmitting is better than arguing. Of course, some of the documents such as rental agreements and transcripts were not attached with the last RQ sent in May 2013. After long time, somebody saw my file, at least that brings respite at this moment.

Recently I called CIC. I was told 36 month waiting period is not over yet, three more months needed. Therefore, Call Center was unable to do anything. You may test by giving a call, to see if your status changes sooner than letter.

Withdrawing application would have been an option for those who had solid residence record, returned tax, have been working fulltime for the last 4 to 5 yrs, but still RQed.

Congrats!! Though unofficial, most routine applications are processed in 6 to 10 months in these days. Most of us have been talking in this forum for almost 10 months or more since our tests. Is it not enough to move forward, to make a decision?

As we sometimes receive RQ unintendedly, it is always good to spent some time to prepare the answer sheet and not to receive the same RQ sometime again. I did the same but still waiting for the result.
