why not just go to passport canada next day after you get the certificate and give a try? on the letter indicated 2 business days, but on oath, officer said 3 business days. ie oath on Monday, apply on Friday. Good luck

Update - he was helped by MP to find out Vancouver office don't have his test record.

day trip is not counted as absence. And i don't remember there is stamp on the passport. If you got an interview, the chance they ask you to provide these missing stamps is very low. They just want to check your actual passport to verify.

A friend of mine took his test in May 2014, and still have no news for his oath. So he called the CIC center and was told they don't have his test result. And guess what's happened?! Now he was told they don't have his test information and questioned if he went to do the test! has this...

I won't say CIC call center people are "professional" lol. they are just a representative taking phone calls and provide general information as you can get online. if you are lucky, some might go beyond their standard procedures to provide you more details. They are just same as CRA call centre...
