    Thats not in their control but the standard bank rules. Thats why one wire transfer pre departure to an account like scotia bank is useful to transfer funds without worrying for markup charges.

    Thanks for the info on hdfc card. I too found travel card a cheaper option to carry money and withdraw after landing to deposit in bank account. What I found is that withdrawal limit varies across ABMs of different banks and is as per the daily limit set by the bank. e.g. Scotia bank's website...

    Mostly it is after medical/rprf request when background checks are over. however for surely after passport request.

    Not sure why you were not asked to provide that info in a table. I got it on my PPR request on March 18. Its at the bottom of the email main matter. Its a standard info which will be required to mention in the COPR documents of applicant and all dependants later like eye color and height.
