That's pretty crappy but it's not an interpretation of Canada, just a louzy CBSA agent. Keep in mind that they often have to follow specific guidelines, whether they like it or not. They are also always under scrutiny. Anyway, not to defend them, I agree that that is a pretty crappy experience...

I the Sponsor as well, received my Sponsorship Approval just 2 days ago, on July 18th. We sent it in on May 19th and they received it on May 22nd. I received it through email around lunch time! It was a good day :) haha
