Salam everyone, Its been 12 days that my husband is in pakistan and he hasnt gotten his passport back yet. He hates it there and wants to come back. I dont know what to do.. if he comes back how will he go back without a passport? He is so impatient he cant take it anymore he just doesnt want...

lol honestly I would say tell your wife to get the pakistani visa it will be safer and she wont have a hard time there.

Sadaf jan, Do you know if there is any phone number that we can get out husbands to call? Maybe that way they can inform them that the visa is expiring shortly.

i dont think the Canadian officials care if you have a Pakistani visa or not but I recommend to still get it. It will make everything smoother and safer inshahallah. My husband got it before he went to Pakistan. They give it to you in two days and its free too. Alhamdullillah they didnt bother...

GUYS I noticed something really weird this morning on ecas. I dont know what it means or if its good news or bad. My application went in processed January 2015. But today when I checked ecas they changed it saying it went in process September 2014. I dont get it :S

About a month ago I sent an email to NDVO and asked them if we should get a new passport or not. They replied now and told us to get a new passport and send the copies to them.

Guys have a question.. Afghan government is coming up with a new passport and apparently after October 2015 the old Afghan passports will no longer be valid. What should we do at this point? Should we go on and get the new passport...and then email Delhi the certified copies of the new passport...

I know:( When did you apply and when is your wife's medical expiring? We did ours many months earlier than actually submitting our application so I think thats why we had to get our remedical done. We applied in june but did the medical in October 2013 lol.
