I don't think visa exempt or not matters. My partner is from a visa exempt country and it was medical expiry.

Hi All, We have had to start the process from scratch and are in the process of reapplying for PR for my partner. Does anyone know if we have to redo the Quebec undertaking part to ? And what about his CSQ ? It says it's valid until 2016 so is it still good ? Hope anyone has some insight...

Hi All, We have had to reapply from scratch as we missed the entry date on my partner's Confirmation of Permanent Residency. I was wondering, must we also reapply for the Québec undertaking ? He has his CSQ which is still valid till 2016.

A week after receiving the letter telling me my form was not the right one I received a letter saying that my right to Sponsor was accepted and that the application has been sent to the visa office. It's so weird. Especially looking at the first letter they sent me, it did not have my name any...

phew! :-) I did not think so, but wanted to make sure. I'll look in to the validity of my partner's Police Certs. Thanks for that advice, cause I would not have thought about that.

yeah I know :( and we will still need to get new police clearances probably, new medical test, add more details on proof of relationship .... so many things !! at least, we know what to do ! It took us a really long time to figure it out the first time :-) aaah, all because of the misreading of...
