This is due date or bring forward date in the gcms notes for me and some other people. This date signifies when the officer looks at your file and makes any progress towards the PR.

Asked in an email to cic that my status is DM from a long while and when will i get the PPR. They responded that due to high volume of correspondence, we would not be able to comment on the your current status. And any more duplicate queries would not be responded :'(

I think if this thread start getting PPR by thursday or friday then it would be a good sign for others. If not, i dont know how long we would be in this lymbo. From the past some in our situation got the PPR after 3 months from DM, i dont want that to be the case with us. ::)

Yes, it takes $5 everytime after the 1st free one. You can choose paper or the other option does not matter. But ideally dont choose paper because then they will open the physical hard copy of your file rather than the soft copy, which might delay your application in general.

Yes in 1 day. Yes the address is the same but what I did was to reply on the same thread on which I got the reply once rather than starting a new one. That helps, now I get responses faster.

@Jasmine - thanks for ur earlier replies. I just emailed cic yesterday and asked out of the blue, if my RPRF was received or not………..i asked this because I had paid upfront RPRF without any email from cic. I got a reply just now that in the file it is still shown as pending so I replied with...

another thing i noted GCMS notes are genrated the same day we apply for it and not the day we recieved it. So, they might not have up to date info at the time we recieve it.....just a thought! I am applying again today!

Heloo.....ok so ......for the ones who got the GCMS notes and have security pending......security is not related to RCMP right,its different? Also, some threads say that security check sometimes takes months, is that true?

I think most of the cic communication is on Thursday or Friday night for PPRs, looking forward to those!
