Hi Everyone ! just a quick update...my husband received his COPR in the mail today...he is approved ! YAY !!! Happy news today, we are both excited and can't wait to see each other. I want to thank everyone on the board for your responses to my questions during this time. The waiting....is well...

Thanks for the reply Obronibini, that helps me understand it a bit a better and yes the process is so different for everyone it seems. My husband is in the US so it is VISA exempt for Canada, we sent a copy of the passport a few weeks back when they requested it. Thanks again :D

Question for anyone from the board who has received a DECISION MADE...... did you receive an email the same day or after the ECAS website updated ? or did the COPR just show up in the mail ? Thanks :D

OMG...I just checked the CIC website before heading to bed and it has been updated to DECISION MADE !!! :o I hope it is good news !!! ;D ....... Now we wait for an email or COPR in the mail !!!

ECAS has been finally changed to " in process " after multiple requests from CIC for information and clarification. I am hoping that this is a positive sign towards my husband receiving COPR !!! yay ! ;D Thought I would share our update...the board looks like it needs some good news today. :D

Does anyone have a link to CIC for requesting the notes on your file ? I could only find the one on the CIC website which I am apparently not allowed to post here for some reason. I am not sure if this is the right one, it states that only a Canadian resident or Permanent Resident or...

I was just able to log into the website ! :D And I finally got my answer from CIC, they only assign a UCI# to your spouse if the application is INLAND, for OUTLAND the Sponsor UCI# is the only one you get ! “The smile upon my lips, It will surely never die
