Has anyone ever applied for a PRTD (Permanent resident travel document from the U.S? Any ideas on the processing time? Current PR card processing time has changed to 52 days from 46 days and I doubt if my card will reach before my travel. Any information on PRTD will be helpful. Thank you!

Does anyone have an idea on how long the processing takes after the PPR request? and also what are the next steps? It's either send your passport or go to the border right? Not one after the other I hope.

Thank you ! Yes, I am aware of internal travel not being an issue. I am more worried about any international travel in this period causing re-entry problems because I dont have a job but I still have a closed work permit and a TRV till Aug 2017.

Interesting, I was unaware that there are more criteria to qualify in this category as well. Thank you though. With responses from this group and the CIC, I am not inlclined at this point to apply for a OWP via sponsorship anymore. Its seems better to wait out the eligibility assessment stage...
