Got my PR card in the mail today. Took 2 days from the moment the PR card application appeared as "complete" on eCAS .... finally, all done. Good luck everyone! ... goodbye eCAS i dont want to see you in a while! :P

I waited 9 week between "decision made" in May16 and the glorious PPR email ... some people got the email the same day though, so it varies a lot

You can give CIC a call and inquire about the status of your PR card ... apparently not everybody gets their ECAS showing PR card info but it doesnt mean your card is not being processed.

As i understand it, it is an administrative refusal and doesn't affect any future US visa application ... however, I have read reports of people complaining that such refusal have flagged them when entering the US and have been asked for second inspection... but vast majority of people have no...

I think you'll be fine, sometimes they dont even bother asking for work permit. if they do, then explain the situation and take with you copy of receipts of your new WP application. Hope everything goes well budy

I'm done with my landing today at North Portal Sk. Everything went smooth, friendly officer on both sides of the border. The whole process took around 25 min. The Canadian officer asked me to show her my work permit and she kept it so you guys better go to the border with all your immigration...
