My Ecas updated last weekend. Ecas showed that they send me a letter to take oath on April 24th. So looks like there will be citizenship ceremony or ceremonies in Regina next week :D still waiting for the paper letter.

Maybe waiting for enough people from or near Regina and have 7-8 ceremonies like Saskatoon. No body knows for sure except CIC.

Just because same CIC office, does not mean they will process Regina and Saskatoon together, for Regina people, the oath ceremony is still in Regina.

No office in Regina anymore, Regina Local CIC office closed in 2012 June http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob431.asp . All cases send to Saskatoon office. Now Saskatoon CIC office is the only CIC office in Saskatchewan.

For my test letter, on Ecas shows they send letter on Feb 9th. And when I got my letter on March 2nd, I checked Canada Post stamp on the envelop, it shows mailed out on Feb 26th. So I think the Ecas date more like the date that letter being printed.

On CIC website it says following: "..... 2. If you are going to a ceremony to take the oath of citizenship, you will find the time you must arrive at the ceremony location indicated on your official invitation letter (Notice to Appear). Also refer to your invitation for special instructions...

I am just guessing here. Maybe they need people who take Oath to be there earlier than public, because they need to register, check ID and sign place to sit.

I think for your employer letter need to show your name, position (permanent full time or not?), salary, started date, hours work for week (40hrs?), and your employer HR contact person name and phone number. I think it just like a Employment Verification Letter or Income Verification letter that...

I don't mind driving to Saskatoon for test, it is 1000 times better than waiting longer. If they let me choose Oath in Saskatoon earlier than Regina, I would drive up there again for sure. lol

I do not know my case is special or not, but I am living in Regina, and the test is in Saskatoon. I don't know all the Regina people take test in Saskatoon or not. Maybe not as many people apply in Regina compare to Saskatoon, so after they processed in Regina and then transfer to Saskatoon for...

paystubs may work too. This is a really strange case, it is really first time I saw and heard someone need to provide all expired health card. Never before. I heard before the problem of Saskatchewan health card do not show birth date and only show birth month and CIC require "identification...

Personal opinion: Why is your Saskatchewan eHealth letter only cover partially missing period? Were you covered by Saskatchewan health insurance during the full missing period? If yes, this eHealth letter will confuse CIC even more. They will want to know why you are not covered for 2 month...

True, sometimes too much information may delay the process too. I think the reason he was asked to send the health card in because the health card he brought to exam is different start date than original application. People who left Saskatchewan for too long, their health card will be canceled...
