It does not impact in any ways. With Landing document (COPR), you can apply for SIN. SIN would typically start with '5' for PR holders. And an employer would understand the fact that you are waiting for PR card to come. All they need is your SIN and you back ground check. Good Luck !!

Another point I could think of : Call CIC call centre and explain them the situation. They should be atleast make VO Team aware of the situation and this might help them sending the passports back on correct address upon receiving Hope this helps.

Sometimes Canada post people do not get to enter the building and then they make the second attempt next day. If same happens on next day, the post reaches to nearest Canada Post. If it was out for delivery on 9th, it should be available for pickup tomorrow or latest by Monday. But I dont think...

I think you should first look for ECAS Status " We started Processing your application on XXX ......." Although ECAS status is not fully reliable, more or less it gets updated .... Apply GCMS notes to know more on whats going on with your application... This is my point of view ....

You were right !!!! Got PPR within a day of Staus "Started Processing ..." I see that your time lines are very similar to mine .... ALL THE BEST and hope you get to hear from CIC soon ...
