    November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

After getting my MP involved a few days ago, I finally got my test invite today. About time!! So I’ve been planning this trip to Europe in the last week of June, and I’ve been torn whether to apply for a Schengen visa or just give up. But now this test invite changes things a lot. I wanted to...

    November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi everyone, I'm writing here because I'm a Nov 2017 applicant who still hasn't received any updates since the start of processing in Feb 2018, and all my inquiries have remained unanswered or "if you need to do anything, we'll let you know". I requested GCMS notes last month, and the result has...

    November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

Yes, I ordered the $5 one. At least it should shed some light on what's going on. Honestly, I've heard many horror stories about documents getting lost or misplaced I don't think waiting for too long is a great idea. Also, every time they call, the agent says they have no information.

    November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I've contacted them by web form, and they only said my documents were in Mississauga. Then I wrote to the Mississauga office, their PO box and their actual address, and they only returned my mail, saying they're only responsible for sponsorship.

    November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

Application was received Nov 30, 2017, still NO NEWS about my test or anything at all. I'm starting to wonder if they've lost my documents. No one answers my questions. I feel like I'm the only one from Nov 2017 who hasn't even been invited to the test.

Help please... 8 months in and no news about test!

It's been the exact same for me. for 7-8 months, all I've gotten is that it's in process. I'm going to call them soon - apparently they've answered some people's questions about security clearance, etc.

Citizenship name of contact for unemployment period

Thanks for replying! I guess I misunderstood the address thing. It asks where I'd been physically present during this time, and I thought that means where I lived. So I filled it out like this: from [date] to [date] work: [xxxx restaurant] address [my home address at the time] contact...

Name of Contact (Citizenship Application) Question 11

Hi there, I have a question regarding a contact person for the periods where I was unemployed. Should I just use my ex's info who I was living with at the time? Other than a brief volunteering period, there were months when I wasn't doing anything. Thanks in advance!

    Re-entering Canada without PR card

Hi there, I wanted to share my experience with you, since I had the same issue last week and after reading comment after comment, I decided to just gather up some courage and go and see what happens! I'm not from a Visa-exempt country; in fact, Canada is very strict on the citizens of my...
