you will get your passport back in 7-10 days from date of delivery.. if not, you can email CIC.. but i would recommend you to wait till next week Wednesday... and then send email..

Me and my wife are currently in OWP and PGWP... and we are having OHIP as well.... We just received our PR and we are yet to goto the boarder for landing.. my question is.. once we do landing, will our current OHIP get invalid? Do we also need to wait for 90 days to get OHIP?

I have to wait till July for my landing then!!! I got to know about TRTD but for that i have to be outside and it takes long time to get it.. i am going to US just for a week... hmmm i think i dont have any other options here... thanks mate..

Sent Passport to Ottawa on 21st and since it was holiday on Monday.. Passport reached on 24th and Yesterday my application in CIC was changed to Approved... But my tracker in CP in still not enabled... Hope to receive pp by Tomorrow or by Monday.... I am traveling to US in July... now i am...

Hi, I am inland (Toronto) and received PR just week ago.. I am awaiting to get back my passport from CIC... And now i have to travel to US in July and now i am confused about landing.... if i making my landing in June, i will not be having PR card by July and i got to know that one cannot...

You need PCC from past 10 years... If your PCC states from 2009 then yes, you MIGHT need another... if your pcc do not states date and time (start date) then you do not need any additional documents...

I am so sorry.... But you can appeal i guess... I almost have same time line... 1/29 and med passed on 3/19.. Even my PCC needed update and i have updated it.... It did not cancel though....! I would suggest you to send an email to CIC and try to appeal on your application...

They are completely wrong.. Get medical for all applicants... If they refuse, go to a different one from the panel list.. in case of refusal, you should be reporting the incidence to CIC....

You should have got an email to your account.... else wait for a day, you should be getting PPR email.

Paper based application are the slowest.... As far as i know yours will take min 6-8 months from AOR... Medicals up front?

What i mean is if you havent received any emails from CIC then your application is getting processed smoothly... So i would recommend you not to be worried for now... You will receive your PPR (if you have submitted all required documents) :) :)

If you have no plans to leave Canada till your PR... Then yes you can wait without any issues...
