I could not find any difference in the two forms.

I am in the US, married to Canadian. We are ready to submit our application for sponsorship. Do I fill out a PR card application now? Most of the questions seem to revolve around someone already living in Canada.

Thanks for the responses. I am not including letters as I have more than enough proof. I have pictures of us with friends and family, proof of several vacations together, proof of many events we attended & many many visits.

I have photocopied (some color/some black & white) our photos together. Is this OK or do they need original photos? I have copied all the cards from flowers/gifts along with his bank statements showing corresponding entries. I am submitting a timeline of our relationship in bullet type...

I may have interpreted the checklist incorrectly - the need for the certificates was under SPONSOR. I am not the sponsor. In any case, I will have them anyway.

I was reviewing the forms & on the Generic Application form for Canada it only asks if I have ever used any other name. It does not ask for any type of Divorce/Death certificates. Maybe I am missing something - very possible. :)

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think I needed divorce certificates from 1970's.

I am 62 years old. I was married 2 times when I was very young (19-24). Do I need to include all those on my forms? I have no idea the dates of the marriage or date of divorces. Will this be a problem. I am in the US.
