You need the visa to get on the plane and travel to Canada and you need the COPR for landing in Canada. If for example you try to use the COPR and a passport without a visa, you won't be permitted to board the plane.

Hello there, I would proudly like to say that my wife received her visa by courier today...we never received an email or phone call, we were very surprised today....we found out that our application went to dm from checking ecas and it seems like the Manila office is working very fast the past 2...

not sure yet....we can't think straight with so much happiness...she still has to attend the seminar....but i think we'll book before the end of the month.

Thank you...my wife's medicals expire in May 27, 2015 but her visa is valid until July 27, 2015...My wife lives near Manila, in Rizal province...the courier actually had the visa yesterday, but he wasn't familiar with where my wife lives, so he left the delivery for today.

The first time i heard from CEM was in the form of an email asking for ppr...in the email it states the date your application was received by them...so it's sort of combination of aor2/ppr I had sa Dec 9,2014 and CEM emailed me on Feb 10, 2015 stating that they received my application on Jan 8...

No contact from the embassy yet...hope they phone my wife today and tell her to pickup her passport this week....we're running out of time...we still need to attend the CFO seminar and book her flight!

On my wife's ecas they put the message: A decision has been made on xxxxxxx xxxxxxx application. The office will contact xxxxxxx xxxxxxx concerning this decision. So I'm hoping we get a phone call or email soon.

Really? We found out when i checked ecas....it finally showed DM...I was so surprised!!!! But we still haven't received any e-mails or phone calls.
