I had no Cash with me at all, All I had was a Bank of America Bank Statement print outs signed and stamped by BOA employee. No Need to carry Cash or TA or anything as such, A bank statement will do, hope this helps!

We took our return flight in the night to SFO, The american immigration officer greeted us on our return at YVR, and asked us few basic questions and let us in. Did you use AVR or had a valid US visa/passport? Is it possible to travel back to us with valid I-797 but expired visa?

Thanks for the input guys, I am not sure who is correct, I know TPS is based in the situation of the native country, I think I should be okay doing my landing after the TPS as well but would consult the lawyer and update you all the same.

I just applied for TPS (temporary protected status) in USA and waiting for the approval. Can I still go for the landing procedure in Canada after applying for TPS ? Can I use TPS travel document to return back to US, without an issue ?

I have not, still not sure if it is safe or not. I can apply for visa interview in Toronto however don't want to if I don't have to.

But my visa is expired last year, only have valid 797.
