    divorced before landing in canada

I'm not sure, but the first thing that popped into my mind when I read your post was the question: Did you pay all of your fees upfront? If you paid the landing fee there might be a possibility it could be refunded. Also, I think you might want to mention it to them so that it's on record if...

You each write a letter. You don't need one from her parents necessarily, but if you have letters from other family or friends that you can submit as proof that you are in a genuine on-going relationship these things will only help your case. It might be wise to disclose the fact that you...

    MARCH 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

I think it's kind of awesome that you're experiencing all of that now with him. You'll remember what to point out to him when you get home in Canada (I pray that will be soon!) I find otherworld countries to run at a much more relaxed pace than Canada does. That might be just what the doctor...

    MARCH 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

It's usually one year after the medical, but sometimes they extend it a month or two to allow the applicant to get their affairs in order and buy their ticket at a less insane price before they go. If an addition medical has been done (after the first expires) it's based on the passport I think...

Need to land in Montreal or Toronto before heading home. Which is better?

From what I understand, I will need to land in Toronto or Montreal before heading to my province of residence. I realize there is an added form for those wishing to reside in Quebec when we fill out our original visa application, but if I'm just doing my landing there and heading home do I need...

    Divorce/Sponsorship/PR

CIC will know you are married if your husband sent in the forms. If he didn't send anything, they don't need to know. He would need to mention it for income tax purposes, but that's not through CIC

    Divorce/Sponsorship/PR

Please sign petition to reduce long processing times

Also, though this might just be because I skimmed it after reading the comments above, you are discouraging those who aren't into "liberal" politics from signing. I do agree that the wait times are ridiculous for so many countries, but I also don't want my name on something that insults the...

If you mention the name of the form you have questions about, it is much easier for us to provide answers. You can just ask anything and anyone who can help you will answer. Mention the code on the forms like IMM5490 etc

    Sponsoring husband from Morocco

It's good to wait to be asked for something and then send everything you want to. I'm not sure if sending things randomly will delay your application or not, but I wouldn't risk it! Keep collecting things in case you need an interview if they don't ask for anything.
